Cristie shares mindfulness practices in both English and Scottish Gaelic in her calm and gentle way. She has a wealth of experience working with adults and children and has been practicing mindfulness and meditation since 2009 when she began her 500 hour yoga teacher training with Yoga Scotland. Since then, Cristie has gone on to immerse herself in both mindfulness practices based on the Plum Village tradition, and yoga meditation. She is certified to teach both and enjoys finding the practices that are most helpful to each person that she works with. Cristie also teaches Buteyko Breathing Method which is about improving our everyday breathing and complements mindfulness practice well. She shares mindfulness mainly online and sometimes outdoors at the local biodynamic garden.
Maggie McKeen
Maggie McKeenYoga Teacher, Yoga Minister & Reiki Master
Maggie McKeen is a yoga teacher, yoga minister and Reiki Master based in Falkland, Fife. She first came into contact with yoga whilst training as a nurse in London in the mid 70’s and eventually commenced teacher training in 2000. She has undertaken 200 hour and 500 hour yoga teacher training, and further training courses on Pranayama & Meditation, Pregnancy Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Heart Meditation Facilitators course. She has enjoyed working with pregnancy and birth as a Birth Educator and Pregnancy Yoga teacher for over 20 years.
Craig Gilbert
Craig GilbertMindfulness Coach
Craig is a self-employed mindfulness coach, with over 10 years experience. Craig learned mindfulness in order to help with his own journey and healing in life, before sharing it with others. Craig runs mindful walks, mindful groups and does 1 to 1 mindful mentoring with individuals, as well as working with organisations to run courses or workshops about mindfulness. Craig follows a Zen mindfulness approach, combining structures learned through MBSR (Mindfulness based stress reduction), MBCT (Mindfulness based cognitive therapy) and adding Zen buddhist practices/principles from teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh (among others) to create his own unique courses and path into awareness.
