Hello! We are... The Mindful Partnership

A supporting presence in your journey to a calm, connected and meaningful life.

We are The Mindful Partnership, a charity committed to making mindfulness and compassionate living accessible to everyone. Our community of experienced teachers and practitioners supports individuals and third-sector organisations across Scotland in cultivating greater awareness, kindness, and resilience.

Combining mindfulness practices with contemplative, healing, and relaxing approaches, we help people integrate connected and compassionate ways of living and working into their daily lives. Whether partnering with community groups, care workers, or those facing personal challenges, we strive to create supportive spaces where individuals can reconnect with themselves and others.

What does The Mindful Partnership do in Scotland?

We offer tailored training, ongoing mentorship, workshops, and retreats that provide the guidance and support needed to foster well-being, personal growth, and stronger, more compassionate communities.

At The Mindful Partnership, we believe nurturing presence and compassion is essential to building healthier, more connected lives for all.

Communities and Individuals

We work within local communities to make mindfulness practice accessible and meaningful for everyone. Our approach is inclusive, welcoming people from all backgrounds and life circumstances.

Our Activities

We offer a range of mindfulness-based activities, including:

  • Short courses – practical introductions to mindfulness
  • Regular ongoing sessions – to help maintain and deepen practice
  • Practice days, workshops, and retreats – opportunities to step back, reflect, and reconnect

Individual Support

We also provide one-to-one support for people who may find it difficult to join group activities, helping them engage with mindfulness in a way that feels safe and supportive.

Collaborative: Supporting our third sector and health and social care teams

At The Mindful Partnership, we recognise the pressures faced by those working in health, social care, and the third sector. We offer tailored packages, training days and weekend workshops in mindfulness and compassion—with a particular emphasis on self-compassion.

Many care workers excel at showing compassion to those they support but often struggle to extend the same kindness to themselves. This can lead to stress, fatigue, and burnout. Our training is designed to help individuals reconnect with their own well-being, build resilience, and sustain their vital work.

Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. By working closely with organisations and teams, we can better understand their unique challenges and develop approaches that truly fit their needs. Through these partnerships, we aim to create a culture of mindfulness and compassion within the sector—supporting staff to thrive and, in turn, enhancing the care they provide to others.

Mentoring and Supervision

From our experience delivering mindfulness and compassion training in communities, we’ve learned that people benefit greatly from ongoing support to sustain and deepen their practice. Practising within a group offers many advantages, such as shared motivation, encouragement, accountability, and a sense of connection.

To help local groups continue and flourish, we offer:

  • Mentorship programmes for those who wish to facilitate and run their own mindfulness practice groups in the community
  • Supervision and mentoring for individuals training to become mindfulness teachers
  • Funding support / direct training to help people complete accredited teacher training programmes, making mindfulness teaching more accessible and inclusive

By supporting community facilitators and teachers in this way, we hope to nurture a network of confident, well-supported practitioners who can share mindfulness and compassion more widely.

What is Mindfulness?

Everyone has the capacity to be mindful, to be present, to be here and now — but it requires training to bring kind and compassionate awareness to this so that we can flourish and grow. We can support you one this journey.

Mindfulness isn’t about being perfect — it’s about being present
